About Mikey Ball
Mikey Ball is a bar consultant with more than a decade of international experience, including serving as head bartender at the award-winning Dandelyan in London. This was following work at the esteemed Milk and Honey in London. His international experience includes NZ, Dubai, London and Canada.
During his time at Dandelyan, the bar and team won international acclaim and awards including “Best International Hotel Bar“, “Best International Bar Team” and “Worlds Best Bar” in the recent Tales and Spirits awards in New Orleans.
Originally from New Zealand, Mikey has returned with a focus on developing the local hospitality community through training, consultancy and several special projects. He champions the importance of mise en place and back of house systems to ensure consistency and control over the product. His unique focus on using local ingredients with unconventional methods has already been welcomed through his recent seminar series, ‘Story to Napkin‘.
He trains bartenders and hospitality operators to balance the intricacies of service and science in delivering exceptional experiences.
